A good news story.

W.Kt. Alastair Slade, a member of William-de-Irwin Conclave became very unwell last year. That is an understatement. Alastair suffered a major stoke which has impacted on his mobility. During these trying times of the Covid crisis he has been shut away in the BRI working hard to recover and having endured many operations.

The good news now is that Alastair is recovering and has been discharged to a ‘half way’ hours in Bath.

Through the good offices of the ‘whole’ Masonic family, he has been provided with an electric wheelchair, which he is now mastering and will allow him to ‘drive out’ to obtain a cup of coffee with friends he has made in the home.

The next step on the road to recovery, will be when Alastair can receive visitors, which we are certain will boast his sprits. In the meantime, we wish him well
